Second-Year Parents and Families

Welcome, Torero Parents and Families.

After your student moves into their Residence Hall on Monday, August 30, we hope the whole family can join us for two special events to kick off the start to our return to campus: a welcome back event with campus leaders followed by a dinner on the beautiful Paseo de Colachis.

Registration will close at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24. Further details and logistics (parking details, maps, etc.) will be sent to registrants shortly after. Although not encouraged, registration will be available on-campus on Monday, August 30. Please note that you do not need to register your student for this event. If you have any questions about the program, please reach out or to call (619) 260-4808. To stay up-to-date, follow our USD Parent and Family Facebook page at
